This page shows forecast data of solar, wind energy and electricity demand in Belgium using data published by:

VEKA (Vlaams Energie- en Klimaatagentschap) at www.energiesparen.be/stroomvoorspeller for the region of Flanders.
SPW- Energie (Service Public de Wallonie) at energie.wallonie.be/fr/carte-dynamique-de-la-wallonie.html?IDC=6185&IDD=144019 for the region of Wallonia.

Offshore wind data is available for both Flanders and Wallonia. It is similar to grid data from Elia, the Belgian electricity transmission system operator. Therefore we use offshore wind data from VEKA in Flanders. Onshore wind and solar photo-voltaic (PV) data uses Elia data as a base, and extends this with recent data on capacity extensions. The sum of generated energy for Flanders and Wallonia can exceed national grid data from Elia, since the latter sometimes monitors a smaller capacity. Electricity demand is taken as is from the VEKA and SPW data sets and stacked if both are shown together. For Flanders weekly and yearly graphs are available at apps.energiesparen.be/stroomvoorspeller-grafieken. The graph below combines data for Flanders and Wallonia, and different parts can be enabled or disabled by clicking on components in the graph legend. WA is the shorthand for Wallonia and FL for Flanders.
