Solar and wind energy as percentage of electricity load in Belgium, year 2020

Homepage Forecast data 2021 2019 Solar Onshore wind Offshore wind Summary

This page shows daily and monthly plots of forecast grid data for solar and wind energy in Belgium, year 2020, as a percentage of the total electricity load. We use quarter hour forecast data from Elia, which is corrected with up-scaled measurement data for the monitored capacity. The monitored capacity can deviate from the installed capacity; and it can change over time. Values are expessed as percentage of total daily or monthly load, and can fluctuate during different parts of a day. In general grid forecast data is more accurate than weather re-analysis from satellite data.
